Les Granits 2021
Rhône Valley - Saint-Joseph
Tasting notes
Appearance:
golden yellow.
Nose:
mineral with floral overtones of honeysuckle and lily in its youth, Tabasco, wax, honey.
Palate:
well-balanced. A very harmonious wine with a subtle final of spices developing into honey with ageing. According to the vintage, the wine can be kept from 30 to 60 years, indeed from 50 to 75 years.
Sommelier's advice:
Food pairing : fresh water fish Fich mousse Soft goat's cheese
Here the reduction, a particular characteristic of this wine, is in full expression and hints at a redox balance which combines very nicely with the notes of acacias and toast. The weave is fine and very mineral.
