"As to the Condrieu, I was shocked at the quality of both new releases. One of the top two to three wines in the vintage is unquestionably the 2015 Condrieu Coteau de Chery. Coming from one of the best terroirs in the appellation, it has full-bodied, concentrated, yet never heavy notes of white peach, orange blossom and tangerine in an ultra-pure, fresh, layered style that’s just hard to resist. It’s up there with some of the greatest Condrieu I have tasted."

"Brilliant yellow. Expansive tangerine, honeydew melon, peach nectar and violet aromas show outstanding focus and minerally lift. Silky and taut on entry, then deeper and fleshier in the midpalate, offering ripe citrus and pit fruit and candied ginger flavors complemented by subtle anise and floral qualities. Finishes with building minerality and excellent clarity, leaving a sexy floral note behind."
