Appearance:
intense garnet.
Nose:
herbacy, spices (liquorice), chocolate, fruits (strawberry).
Palate:
ample, fleshy, hot and round. Outstanding density with an impressive length. According to the vintage, the wine can be kept from 30 to 60 years, indeed from 50 to 75 years.

Grenache at its absolute finest! A powerful explosion of strawberry and raspberry notes with a smooth, dense texture and very appetizing palate. An exceptionally high quality wine!

Manual harvesting at optimal ripeness.
Soil:
From the Barbe d’Asne area. Located at the westernmost tip of the appellation. Quaternary terrace with large rolled pebbles from the old bed of the Rhône on the surface. The plot producing this parcel selection has a very complex and varied geology. The vines are 90 years old.
Vinification:
Vinification in small concrete tanks with 30% whole bunches. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts and moderate use of sulfur. Winemaking temperature not exceeding 28°C. Maceration for 3 to 4 weeks with very little intervention.
Ageing:
Raised in uncoated concrete tanks for about 20 months.
