Appearance:
beautiful colour with deep ruby lights.
Nose:
ripe fruits, morello cherry, grenadine.
Palate:
round, harmonious, powerful with red stone fruits (cherry…).
Sommelier's advice: Ideal for the buffet table. spicies dishes, oriental meals,..
Grape variety/varieties:
Grenache noir, Cinsault, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Clairette and Bourboulenc.
Soil:
The soil is made up of chalky gravels and red clays.
Vinification:
The vinification is performed in the traditional way. The maceration lasts between 24 and 36 hours and is followed by bleeding (this is the separation between the free-run juice and the solid parts).
Ageing:
The wine is aged in vats and is bottled in spring.
