Tasting notes
Appearance:
dark garnet-red.
Nose:
aromas of ripe red berries: raspberries jam and notes of blackberries.
Palate:
very unctuous with a lot of berries, blackberries on the palate, with a mellow tannic final. This wine is well-balanced with a great ageing potential.
Grape variety/varieties:
Grenache.
Harvest:
The alluvial deposit terrace is composed of shingles, limestone and schist blended, called the “Crest”.
Soil:

Vinification:
Fortified wine: alcohol is added on the grapes and then maceration takes place for one month.
Ageing:
A half is aged in vats and the other in oak casks for 24 months.
