Appearance:
intense garnet-red.
Nose:
stewed fruits and cocoa aromas, very intense nose.
Palate:
perfect balance between alcohol and sugar. Long persistency.

100% Grenache.
Harvest:
Grapes are hand-harvested when they are very ripe with a natural alcohol content above 15%.
Soil:
The slopes are located on very old schisty soils from the Primary Era. They are shallow and very poor.
Vinification:
The crop is destemmed and crushed. A long fermentation is long (more than one month) with the addition of alcohol on the must in order to favour the extraction of aromas and tannins.
Ageing:
The wine is aged in oak casks for 16 months.
