Appearance:
fine, delicate appearance with golden yellow and straw coloured tints.
Nose:
complexity with aromas of stone-fruit and citrus with mineral notes (gunflint).
Palate:
a delectable, rich, deep wine, underpinned by lovely acidity.
Sommelier's advice: Food pairing: ideal served chilled as an aperitif but also pairs perfectly with part-cooked “foie gras” on toast, cream of asparagus soup, pan-fried sea scallops and fish (all preparations), as well as crottin de chèvre cheese. Serving temperature: 12-14°C.
