Appearance:
Crimson with garnet tints.
Nose:
Nose of tarmac and graphite with hints of cedar.
Palate:
A hint of reduced meat juice. A great complexity on tasting. According to the vintage, the wine can be kept from 30 to 60 years, indeed from 50 to 75 years.

100% Syrah.
Harvest:
Manual harvesting at optimal maturity.
Soil:
Slightly decomposed granite rocky soil of Tournon. Coarse-grained granite, black mica, and inclusion of fractured and locally altered quartz.
Vinification:
Vinification in small concrete tanks after destemming. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts and moderate use of sulfur. Maceration for 3 to 4 weeks.
Ageing:
In barrels and small casks (average of 15% new barrels) for 18 to 20 months.
