Oeil :
Light yellow robe with golden tints.
Nez :
A lightly toasted first nose with hints of almond and brown butter then, after the wine has had a chance to breathe, complex aromas of ripe yellow-fleshed fruit and sweet spices emerge.
Bouche :
Broad on entry to the palate, well-balanced with a lovely downy texture. The structure is dense and saline, the roasted yellow fruit gives way to fine empyreumatic overtones on the finish.

To ensure a perfect balance between maturity and freshness, each plot is harvested by hand in several passes.
Sol :
South-east facing hillside on the heights of the village of Saint-Péray. Soil composed of partially decomposed porphyroid granite with a sandy tendency and a high proportion of quartz.
Vinification :
Whole-grape pressing, moderate use of sulphur. Light settling. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts, mostly in big wooden barrels (600 liters), wooden casks (85% with 15% new wood), and stainless steel vats (15%).
Elevage :
Aged on lees for 11 months with occasional stirring.
