Appearance:
intense and deep inky colour with hints of violet.
Nose:
liquorice and dark fruits with a hint of all-spice.
Palate:
full flavoured and rich yet restrained with a hint of dark chocolate, blackberries and spice. A great length with fine persistent tannins.

100% Shiraz.
Harvest:
Hand picked at optimum maturity to retain natural freshness.
Soil:
The soil is composed of silstone with yellow and red podzolic earth and quartz rocks.
Vinification:
100% destemmed grapes are fermented in concrete tanks utilising wild yeasts. Gentle extraction by pumping-over and a long maceration of 4-6 weeks ensures a fine, well balanced tannin structure.
Ageing:
100% of the wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
