When a winemaker from Champagne meets a winemaker from the Rhone Valley, what do they talk about? About vineyards of course: their shared values, respect for terroir, and savoir-faire… Born out of these discussions between Michel Chapoutier and Champagne Devaux, was the idea of creating an exceptional Champagne that would be the faithful representation of a particular year, and a particular terroir.
