Nose:
black fruit flavours (blackberry) with some graphite and flinty notes.
Palate:
the spice and black pepper aromas reflect the expression of this granitic terroir. A firm tannic structure provides to this wine an exceptional length.
Grape variety/varieties:
100% Syrah.
Harvest:
Grapes are manually harvested at maturity avoiding overmaturation.
Soil:
Grapes come from a granitic soil.
Vinification:
Grapes are entirely destemmed. Fermentation and maceration are performed in concrete tanks. The extraction is carried out by punching of the cap.
Ageing:
The wine is aged in oak casks (with a proportion of 30% of new ones) for 18 months.
