Tasting notes
Appearance:
tile red ,orange hues with lovely bronze highlights.
Nose:
notes of sweet spices, vanilla, candied orange peel and citron. These notes are fine and delicate.
Palate:
elegant and creamy with aromas of candied fruit.
Sommelier's advice: White peaches with verbena.
Grape variety/varieties:
Macabeu, Grenache Blanc, Grenache Gris, Muscat
Harvest:
The crop is hand-harvested when grapes are very ripe.
Soil:
Metamorphic brown schists.
Vinification:
Whole bunch pressing then addition of pure alcohol on the must during fermentation in order to stop it.
Ageing:
In full tun under reductive conditions.
