The founding principles of biodynamics were developed in the 19th century by Austrian scientist Rudolf Steiner. He strongly believed that a plant does not live by itself but rather exists as part of a bigger picture. As part of the soils that nourish it, as part of the light that it absorbs in order to grow. A simple idea yet nevertheless revolutionary at the time.
