Rhône Valley - Saint-Joseph
Oeil : golden yellow.
Nez : mineral with floral overtones of honeysuckle and lily in its youth, Tabasco, wax, honey.
Bouche : well-balanced. A very harmonious wine with a subtle final of spices developing into honey with ageing. According to the vintage, the wine can be kept from 30 to 60 years, indeed from 50 to 75 years.

Cépage(s) : Marsanne. Selection of our oldest Marsanne vines on our best Saint Joseph soils.
Vendanges : The grapes are hand-harvested once very ripe. The natural alcohol content is often 12,5% vol.
Sol : Very steep granite slopes in the south of Tournon.
Vinification : Pressing of the whole grapes. Cold settling between 24 and 48 hours. Half of the wine is fermented in vats, the other part in big wooden barrels (600 liters).
Elevage : Ageing takes place on lees from 8 to 10 months, with stirrings. The two parts are blending before bottling.
