Oeil : Pale yellow with green lights, limpid, brilliant.
Nez : The first nose is on quince, peony and then roasted almond.
Bouche : The attack is supple and fresh.
Cépage(s) : Marsanne. The Crozes-Hermitage “Les Meysonniers” comes from vines which are between 20 and 40 years old.
Vendanges : Hand-harvested at maturity.
Sol : Gentle slopes are facing full South. The soil and subsoil are made up of a blending of clays and shingles.
Vinification : The entire grapes are pressed. The must is cold-settling for 24 hours. The temperatures of vinification are regulated. Fermentations take place in vats.
Elevage : Ageing lasts for 7 to 8 months in tank. 100% of which takes place in stainless steel in order to preserve the aromatic quality, derived from the Crozes-Hermitage sedimentary soils, within the aromatic expression of Marsanne.
