Oeil :
crimson hue with vermilion tints.
Nez :
spicy nose with fresh red fruit and pepper, complement by floral notes after aeration.
Bouche :
fresh on entry and delicate and silky on the palate. The black pepper and Morello cherry aromas give way to an energetic finish with notes of cedar.

Vendanges :
Harvesting by hand at optimum maturity.
Sol :
Clay, siliceous rolled pebbles, limestone gravel and loess. Areas with leptynites (gneissic metamorphic rock) granitoids.
Vinification :
Vinification in small, unlined concrete vats after destemming. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts and moderate use of sulphur. Maceration for 3 to 4 weeks.
Elevage :
12 months in big wooden barrels and casks (228L), including 15% new wood.
