Oeil :
deep crimson with carmine tints.
Nez :
the complex, predominately floral, nose opens with aromas of red fruit, spice and tapenade.
Bouche :
the palate entry is crisp and refreshing with silky tannins, leading to warm spices and cedarwood notes on the finish.

The grapes are hand-harvested at optimum ripeness.
Sol :
A blend of our 4 historic plots : Côte Brune, Côte Blonde, Neve and Coteau de Tupin (migmatic and loess). In the heart of the hillsides, the soils are composed of slightly altered and ferruginous chlorite micaschists (Côte Brune) and gneiss (Côte Blonde).
Vinification :
Vinification in small concrete vats after destemming. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts and a moderate amount of sulphur is used. The temperature of vinification does not exceed 28°C. Maceration for 3 to 4 weeks.
Elevage :
Aged in barrels (20% new wood) for 14 to 16 months.
