deep garnet red with purple lights during its youth.
Nez :
ripe fruits and smoky aromas.
Bouche :
powerful tannins, velvety, blackberry jam. According to the vintage, the wine can be kept from 30 to 60 years, indeed from 50 to 75 years.

Vendanges :
Manual harvesting at optimal ripeness.
Sol :
Steep slope facing south. High terraces of the Rhône, rolled pebbles, and loess on a base of deep clays.
Vinification :
Vinification in small concrete tanks after destemming. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts and moderate use of sulfur. Maceration for 3 to 4 weeks.
Elevage :
Completely in barrels and small casks for a duration of about 18 months with 15% of new barrels.
