Appearance:
intense crimson-red.
Nose:
complex and subtle, blackcurrant and plum followed by roasted coffee and cinnamon, cherry, morello cherry.
Palate:
opening into spicy (liquorice) and fruity aromas.

Grape variety/varieties:
A blend with a majority of Grenache (the emblematic grape variety of the appellation), complemented by Syrah and Mourvèdre in smaller proportions.
Harvest:
Manual harvest at perfect maturity, carefully sorted at harvest.
Soil:
A blend of several Châteauneuf-du-Pape Terroirs, composed of rolled pebbles from the ancient bed of the Rhône, safres and villafranchian terraces on clay matrices.
Vinification:
Traditional vinification in closed concrete vats. Average vatting time of 3 weeks, with light extraction to preserve freshness and finesse of the grape varieties.
Ageing:
Aged for 16 months entirely in concrete vats.
