Languedoc - Roussillon - Côtes-du-Roussillon Villages Lesquerde
The first nose reveals very fresh mint and eucalyptus then gives way to blackcurrants and blackberries. Scents of scrubland (thyme) then take over on the nose, which finishes with spicy notes. On entry to the palate, the wine has an almost northern character with tight tannins, and shows great aromatic complexity on the finish. It presents all the qualities of a great vintage for laying down.
