"The 2017 Muscat de Beaumes de Venise bursts from the glass with floral notes rose petals and hints of lychee fruit. Medium to full-bodied, it's medium to full-bodied and sweet but balanced, with citrus pith on the finish. While Chapoutier says we drink these wines too young, I think they're at their best in their first few years, when all the exotic florals and spices are at their peak."
In the Rhone Valley, or through the most beautiful regions of France and the world, the Maison M. CHAPOUTIER lets the terroir express itself.
The soil is composed of soft limestone with sandstone zones and sandy molasses.
The alcoholic fermentation starts slowly. The temperature does not exceed 15°C. When the residual sugar level is reached, a fortification is carried out, that is to say, alcohol is added in order to stop fermentation.
