Appearance:
Black and deep
Nose:
Very dark, complex and showing slight reduction. One finds notes of wild, ripe black fruit. This is followed by notes of graphite, carbon and soot.
Palate:
Massive attack on entry to the palate with fine, tight tannins and lovely mineral tension. One has the overall impression of volume, fullness on the palate, with structure, meat and chewiness. This is an elegant, powerful Cornas with a great deal of balance and finesse.

Vinification:
Traditional vinification in concrete tanks with extraction achieved through pumping-over operations. Maceration lasts for 4 weeks
Ageing:
The wine is aged in oak barrels for 14 months.
