Made from 100% Grenache Blanc, the
tart, fresh, acidic, mineral-laced 2010
Cotes du Rhone Belleruche Blanc was
aged in stainless steel to preserve its
freshness and bottled early (as was La
Ciboise Blanc). It, too, should be drunk
over the next year.
Jeb Dunuck (The Rhone Report): 86
Fresh, floral and slightly tropical, with background nuttiness, the 2012 M. Chapoutier Côtes du Rhône Belleruche Blanc is light bodied, juicy, and clean on the palate, with plenty of acidity emerging on the finish. Value priced and well made, it should be enjoyed over the coming year or two.
Wine Spectator - Mai 2011
Le Côtes du Rhône blanc Belleruche 2010 est un assemblage de Grenache Blanc, Clairette et Bourboulenc, avec un côté pierreux, des notes de pulpe de citron et de chèvrefeuille.

89. Probably the best white Cotes du Rhone he has ever produced in my experience is the 2006 Cotes du Rhone Belleruche, a blend of Marsanne, Bourboulenc, and Grenache blanc. Gloriously ripe but restrained notes of apricot, peach, and mineral jump from the glass of this deliciously fruity, clean, medium-bodied wine, bursting at the seams with personality and character. It should be food-friendly and best drunk over its first several years of life.

86. The 2005 Cotes du Rhone Belleruche which contains considerable Syrah, offers some herbal notes, dark ruby color, good fruit, medium body, and a straightforward style that is unlikely to inspire or displease.
Wine Advocate #145 (Feb 2003)
The impressive 2001 Cotes du Rhone Belleruche is the finest white Cotes du Rhone Chapoutier has yet produced. A blend of Grenache Blanc, Marsanne, and Bourboulenc, it is completely tank-fermented and aged, but there was considerable lees stirring to build more texture. The 2001 offers up wonderful honeyed citrus aromas with hints of peaches, apricots, and oranges in the background. Medium-bodied, with loads of fruit as well as a surprisingly long finish, it is a tasty Cotes du Rhone to enjoy over the next 1-2 years.

The 2000 Cotes du Rhone Belleruche reveals notes of orange skins and apples in its light-bodied, fresh personality

Richard NALLEY (THE RECORD / USA) 26 Avril 2000
It's hard to call a wine sophisticated when it's as straightforward as the Chapoutier 1998 "Belleruche" Côtes du Rhône, but this is a wine that perfectly delivers on its relatively simple mission. It's a dry, clean, and round, with a mild resinated, menthol-like note, and it grows on you. A subtle, but substancial, mouthful of white wine blended from such less familiar grapes as white grenache, marsanne, and, bourboulenc.
Fredric KOEPPEL (THE TELEGRAPH / USA) 2 Juillet 2000
White grenache, marsanne and bourboulenc grapes comprise the Belleruche 1998, Côtes du Rhône blanc from M.Chapoutier. It's a dry summer meadow wine, bursting with touches of sage and thyme and little white flowers, while citrus and orange blossom are supported by vivid acid and river stone. Very good +.
(THE WINE SPECTATOR / USA) Septembre 2000
Good ripeness mixed with a grassy, fresh, lemony, honey character. This light-bodied white has character ; it’s not complicated or complex, but quite delicious. Drink now.
Clives COATES (THE VINE / UK) July 2000
Some colour. This is a touch anonymous. I prefer the Coteaux d’Aix but it is clean and the finish is positive. Ready now, drink quite soon.
(WINE SPECTATOR / USA) May 1999
Medium-bodied, with a honey, pear tart and melon character, this is delicious if not complex. Shows a supple finish, yet with a good, lemon-flavored lengh. Perfect as an apertif or with simple fare. Drink now.
Robert M. PARKER Jr (THE WINE ADVOCATE / USA) February 1999
A blend of Bourboulenc and Grenache, the 1997 Côtes du Rhône " Belleruche " is a light-bodied, citrusy, fresh white to enjoy over the next year.
(PLEINE VIE / France) Septembre 1997
Chapoutier, maison connue pour ses hermitages (une réussite constante) fait aussi un vin générique, souple en bouche, au nez de pommes vertes.
(WINE & SPIRITS / USA) December 1996
Buxom, with finely detailed floral scents of honeysuckle. Those floral aspects are checked by a pleasant, almond-like bitterness that holds the wine in balance. The body is big, but the impressions are ethereal. Michel Chapoutier's wines just keep getting better.
Clive COATES (THE VINE / England) September 1996
Clean on the nose. Mainly Grenache and Clairette. This is crisp and fresh. A good example. Drink soon.
Robert M. PARKER Jr (THE WINE ADVOCATE / USA) August 1996
Crisp, early-botled, perfumed, medium-bodied, dry white wine with attractive peach fruit. It is meant to be drunk over the next several years.
(LE JOURNAL DU MEDECIN / Belgique) Juin 1995
Bonne présence citronnée, vif, frais, plaisant.
Thomas MATTHEWS (WINE SPECTATOR / USA) November 1995
Tart, lemony flavors and aromas.

Lovely, citrusy, fresh, fruity nose, medium body, crisp acidity, and a tasty finish.

Richer and fuller, with wonderfull vibrancy, loads of flavor, fine acidity, and a lively bouquet.
